Annual Mochi Pounding, Performance and Fundraiser
Come join us in celebrating the New Year on January 1st, 2-4pm. We will pound mochi, perform songs from our repertoire, and fundraise for the Rakuda Project. (See Calendar for more details.)

Come and play with us! We offer Fun Taiko, a drop-in, come-when-you-can class on Wednesdays 6:30-7:30pm for $10 per class. This class is the perfect place to give taiko a try.
Or you might like to join our Intro to Taiko class. This is a four-week session that systematically covers all the basic skills of taiko. Intro to Taiko starts December 3rd and meets twice a week on Saturdays from 1:00-2:30pm and Thursdays from 6:30-8:00pm.

If you've ever wanted to know what it feels like to play the big drums, this is your chance!
We are seeking a new home!
We have found a temporary rehearsal space for October to May, but we are still looking for a new long-term place for our dojo. If you know of a suitable space that is at least 1500 square feet, in an area where loud drumming is acceptable in the evenings and on weekends, and preferably (but not necessarily) in Emeryville, please let us know at info@etaiko.org.
